(Each family should be asked to bring a gift to exchange of a pre-determined amount.  At the appropriate time, a representative from each family should be directed to get their own gift.  Family member should all be seated together but there should be several tables of families.  The following reading will indicate the order in which the exchanges should occur.)

1.                         Pass to a member of another family to your right at the same table.

2.                         Exchange with another family at the same table that has a different color wrapping on their package.

3.                         Exchange with another family at a different table that has either color of wrapping on their package.

4.                         Pass to a member of another family to your left at the same table.

5.                         Exchange with another family at the same table that has the same color of wrapping on their package.

6.                         Exchange with the family directly across from you.

7.                         Exchange with whatever family you want to.

8.                         Exchange with a family that has the same color bow as you.  If no one has the same color, just keep your gift.

9.                         Exchange with a family that has a smaller package than you if you want to exchange at this point but only if that family is willing to exchange.

10.                     Pass to a member of another family to your right at the same table.

Keep the gift if it is not you own.  If it is the one you brought, find someone who is willing to exchange with you.

Merry Christmas!
