3 Unique Ways to Give Thanks
Homelife – November 2010
At your family’s Thanksgiving gathering, give these three exercises in
gratitude a try.
- Ask each family
member to bring a favorite recipe to your Thanksgiving celebration. Thank
God for providing food for your family all year long. Then create a family
cookbook to give as gifts at Christmas.
- Put a
Bible verse about giving thanks, such as 1 Thessalonians 5:18, on each
person’s plate, then ask each person to read his or her verse before
- Use the
alphabet to inspire thanks. Go around the table and ask the first person
to say something he or she is grateful for beginning with the letter A.
The second person would say something he or she is grateful for beginning
with the letter B, and so on.
